What do you find exciting about your job at Sabik Offshore?
Despite my young age, I feel that I play an integral role to the success of our company and can make things happen. Although I have only been here for a year and a half, I’ve already been able to get involved and improve processes, something which wasn’t possible at my previous employer. It’s very positive and refreshing to play an important part in the development of a company.
How do you know that Sabik Offshore is the right place for you?
Our work styles and philosophies fit. I can work independently but still have a team behind me. I am heard and not just a number in the system. We all work hard but the flexibility in our working style allows me to find balance and enjoy my hobbies as well.
How did you find the Onboarding at Sabik Offshore?
I was impressed, even my onboarding process had a concept. That is not a given at every employer. I quickly got to know all my colleagues in production, was able to ask them for advice and make contacts immediately. That was perfect, especially for me as a new colleague. After a short time, I had the feeling that I was considered a “full member of the team”, although I was still relatively new.
What do you like about your team?
It is solution-oriented cooperation. People don’t work against each other here, but with each other. I am integrated into all processes. And if there is an innovation, for example, then they say: “It’s your business, too”. The saying “We’ve always done it this way” doesn’t apply here.
At Sabik Offshore, all decisions are disclosed and made transparent. There are regular meetings here in which we evaluate what went well and what can perhaps be done even better next time. I like the fact that constructive criticism and feedback are used here, and that the atmosphere is very communicative.
