What do you find exciting about your job?
Lighting and Marking offshore wind farms is fascinating. It is exciting to have grown with the industry and company to work in the international arena.
What drives you through?
Our products have to reach our customers on time – whether it is in Europe, Asia or the USA. I love the challenge of coordinating all the moving parts to keep production moving smoothly.
What do you like about the Sabik Offshore team?
The open-door mentality means we can quickly exchange ideas and find solutions. Even when things are difficult, I really like this openness about my colleagues. We work hard but we have fun, are cheerful and open with each other.
How have grown with Sabik Offshore?
I started at Sabik Offshore as a parental leave substitute in the accounting department. After a year, I got a permanent contract and was then asked if I would like to take over project management. At the same time, I started studying for my Bachelors’s degree in Business Administration. It wasn’t always easy working full-time with two small children, but I always had the full support of our management.
In 2021 I moved into the position of Head of Operations. Because I’ve been with Sabik Offshore for so long, I know all the departments, which is an advantage.
Everyone can give their opinion here. I think this is really important and it also helps companies move forward. We even have an idea management system. Every colleague can give suggestions. We take every idea seriously.
I am proud of our company. It may not be a big name that everyone knows but we are the market leader and have supplied to almost every offshore wind farm in the world.
